Annie designs her prints and patterns in a studio in rural Lincolnshire near Stamford. Her work is inspired by natural plant forms and wildlife.
After drawing the design each lino block is handcut and printed in the studio whether a motif for a logo or an illustration. Some of her prints are editioned, others are carefully adapted to be printed by bespoke British manufacturers onto homewares and fabric.
Annie studied Art in East Sussex, there inspired by artists such as Robert Tavener, Eric Ravilious and Peggy Angus. At degree level she developed her interest in relief printmaking and primitive art. After a career designing for UK publishers, she currently works on a wide variety of projects from illustration commissions to textile design.
